Comprehension of wet particle behavior is great importance in science and engineering. In the past two decades, modeling simulation for particles have been extensively studied because their various industrial applications. The discrete element method (DEM) employed to simulate behavior. To calculate behavior, several capillary force models developed so far. Roughly speaking, are classified into types, namely, analytical model geometrical approximation model. most frequently its simplicity, though only a small amount liquid volume applicable. has significant advantages no theoretical limitation as well high accuracy. Incidentally, usually expresses bridge shape by toroidal approximation. However, validation tests hardly performed due difficulty incorporating complex algorithm DEM. From background, this paper aims prove superiority adequacy DEM particles. First, examined two-body system. Afterward, following types performed: granular collapse powder mixing twin-screw kneader. collapse, content set be less than 4 vol. %. kneader system, more 5 Through tests, proved agreement between computational experimental results above systems.
